ATLA-Religion
ATLA-Religion combines the premier index to journal articles, book reviews, and collections of essays in all fields of religion with ATLA’s online collection of major religion and theology journals. Coverage in this database begins in 1908, although indexing for some journal titles extends back into the nineteenth century. Full text is provided for more than 285,300 electronic articles and book reviews from 150 journals selected by leading religion scholars in the United States. This database is produced by the American Theological Library Association.

Christian Periodical Index
CPI is an index for popular evangelical magazines such as Christianity Today.  It also indexes the Banner of Truth and the Puritan Reformed Journal.  There are no full-text articles.

New England Quarterly
 New England Quarterly contains the best that has been written on New England’s cultural, political, social, and literary history. Contributions cover a range of time periods, from before European colonization to the present, and any subject germane to New England’s history. The articles we have access to are marked with a green circle with the PDF links right under the citation.

NT Abstracts
NTA is an index of articles dealing with New Testament texts within a Judeo-Christian framework.  There are no full-text articles.

OTA is an index of articles dealing with Old Testament texts within a Judeo-Christian framework.  There are no full-text articles.

Reformed Christian Sources Index
Reformed Christian Sources Index, compiled by Michael Keen, provides an index to the following periodicals and resources: Banner of Truth Magazine (1955-2006), Reformation Today (1970-2006), Westminster/Puritan Conference (1955-2006), along with selected Banner Website articles (2000-2006).

PeRT (PRTS Electronic Research Tool)
PeRT is an index of Scripture texts within PRTS library books.  Look up any reference and find the exact pages within books containing sermons, devotional literature, or commentary on that reference for use in sermon preparation or written assignments.
Post-Reformation Theological Research File
The Post-Reformation Theological Research File was donated to the seminary by Dr. Richard A. Muller.  It consists of secondary source material used in his post-Reformation research and consequent publications.  The focus of the material is on the development of Protestant thought in the 16th and 17th centuries, including material dealing with medieval and Renaissance backgrounds.  The materials are arranged in order by the title or author’s last name and are located in the green filing cabinet beside Seth Huckstead’s cubicle.  Articles may be photocopied.
PRTS Article File
The PAF contains religious, evangelical, theological, and historical articles collected by the late Dr. Benjamin Boerkoel, Sr. and donated to the Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary.  These articles are in order by the author’s last name and are physically located in the filing cabinet beside the library front desk.  Articles may be photocopied.
Puritan Studies Index
The PSI is an online index to a full-text article file containing material related to the English, Dutch, and American Puritans.  Topics include family conduct, economics, politics, civil government, culture, society, children, marriage, theology, nature, etc., The late Dr. Benjamin Boerkoel, Sr. first began this collection and then donated it to the Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary.  The collection has since grown by several thousand articles and continues to expand weekly as new materials are added.  These articles are in order by the author’s last name and are physically located in the filing cabinet within the Puritan Research Center.  Articles may be photocopied.

Theological Journal Library Access to this full-text journal library of 29 scholarly (primary evangelical) journals is limited to student computer #1 located in the library. Here is a list of journals in the Theological Journal Library Volumes 1-14.

Digibron-Kenniscentrum Gereformeerde Gezindte
This Dutch site is a digital library of well-known Dutch periodicals, including De Saambinder and Daniel. Every issue of the periodical titles included in the database is available full-text.
Directory of Open Access Journals
The Directory includes free, full-text, quality-controlled scientific and scholarly journals in all subjects and languages.  There are now 2897 journals in the directory.  Currently 933 of them are searchable at article level.
Free open access online journals
Internet Journals on Christianity and other Religions provides limited full-text access to over 100 journals in religion and theology. This link provides a pdf list of available journals.
HathiTrust Digital Library
HathiTrust is a digital preservation repository and highly functional access platform. It provides long-term preservation and access for both public domain and copyrighted content from a variety of sources, including Google, Internet Archive, Microsoft, and in-house partner institution initiatives. Currently, the digital collection contains 8,219,655 total volumes, both books and periodicals. Search the catalog for subjects like Puritans, Psalms, Sermons, and Jonathan Edwards to retrieve full-text books and journal articles online.
OAIster
OAIster is a union catalog of millions of records representing open access digital resources that was built by harvesting from open access collections worldwide using the Open Archives Initiative Protocol for Metadata Harvesting (OAI-PMH). Today, OAIster includes more than 25 million records representing digital resources from more than 1,100 contributors. The wide range of materials available in OAIster includes: digitized (scanned) books, journal articles, newspapers, manuscripts, digital text, audio files (wav, mp3), video files (mp4, QuickTime), photographic images (jpeg, tiff, gif), data sets (downloadable statistical information), and theses and research papers.

Religion Online contains more than 6,000 articles and chapters. Topics include Old and New Testament, Theology, Ethics, History and Sociology of Religion, Communication and Cultural Studies, Pastoral Care, Counseling, Homiletics, Worship, Missions and Religious Education.
Review of Biblical Literature
RBL, founded by the Society of Biblical Literature, presents reviews of books in biblical studies and related fields. Appearing in this digital form and in print, RBL is comprehensive, international, and timely. Free, online book reviews of scholarly literature in biblical studies. About 400 reviews per year.
Religion and Theological Abstracts
This abbreviated, free version of RTS provides abstracts to thousands of journal articles. Its only limitation is that it provides no more than five abstracts for a given subject or Scripture text.
